There are threads debating and some factual information on the choices, but nothing definitive and clear.
1. If you factory order the keypad option you receive a keypad that sticks wherever you want it. I made this choice not knowing and since order is scheduled, dealer tells me it cannot be changed. So it’s a $225 option that I will take a hammer to and post on Tic Toc as a tribute to ford.

2. The dealer installed option consists of a Panel Trim piece #FL3Z-1520555-SF $50.00 which is available, and the actual Keypad #Rl3Z-14A626-AA $71.00, which is on national back order. The keypad is easy to find on Amazon
It does have to be done by the dealer as requires a change to the BCM.
What I cannot confirm is if the actual wire is there on a 2025 to plug the keypad into, does anyone know?

I'm in the same boat, however, because I am trading the Raptor in for a 25" Super Duty. I am also working on how to get the correct keypad turned on in FRDS or Forscan. I just need the truck first to have at it.

I'm also hearing the garage door opener in the visor is no longer included in the 25 trucks......

My ‘25 Raptors has the Homelink buttons on the visor.

I looked at a ‘25 Tahoe, and they moved the garage buttons to the screen. You have to click through a few screens to get to them.

Off Topic. Thinking about how Ford removes value and this Forum adds Value. It’s only fair I contribute to this Forum by ponying up the subscription, small price to pay.

There are two listed by Ford that I know of. A wireless one that simply mimics a key fob and can be mounted nearly anywhere with 3M tape. There is also a wired keypad that requires drilling and configuration with the BCM. We are having the wired one installed in our “bar car” ‘24 Bronco Sport tomorrow. I’ll post a picture of the pad when we get it back.

This is not what I was expecting, it’s even better. Here is the wired keypad for a Bronco Sport I mentioned yesterday. It was installed today as an add-on to our “bar car.”IMG_4497.jpeg
