Not really a lot- tune, lighter wheels/tires, that’s all. Still not as fast as an R, but gets close. That's a lot of stuff done to a 3.5 to make it compete. All you have to do to the r is throw some 35s on it...

a tuned 3.5 with bolt ons will hurt feelings for sure. I enjoy mine. Ran into my first RHO this weekend. He gapped me by a truck length. Not really a lot- tune, lighter wheels/tires, that’s all. Still not as fast as an R, but gets close.
Yeah from everything I’ve seen they actually do have 540 HP. Their extra weight isn’t enough for 450HP to remotely keep up.a tuned 3.5 with bolt ons will hurt feelings for sure. I enjoy mine. Ran into my first RHO this weekend. He gapped me by a truck length.
I thought it would be closer for sure. Oh well. At least my truck doesn’t look like a poop emoji. Am excited for the next gen Raptor.Yeah from everything I’ve seen they actually do have 540 HP. Their extra weight isn’t enough for 450HP to remotely keep up.
I am too…at this point bring on the gen 4. lolI thought it would be closer for sure. Oh well. At least my truck doesn’t look like a poop emoji. Am excited for the next gen Raptor.
FUKKKK YA…..A-MERICA!!!I got my ‘24 R at MSRP and even at that, it’s damn expensive. 100% worth it IMO. Just the best truck I’ve ever owned and I’ve owned so many, including 4 other raptors. Something about hearing that big supercharged V8 roar and all that torque just makes it all worth it. But it’s not an insignificant purchase so you have to decide for yourself. I’ve put about 3000 miles on it since I got her in July and I split time driving her and my wife’s CT5 Blackwing. I guess I’m just willing to spend a bunch on big American V8s while we can still get em!
That’s a kick I the ****. That really sucks.I’m in a similar situation, but perhaps even worse. Had been shopping for months trying to get an R at or close to MSRP without any luck. This week I caved and purchased a new 24 802a truck (still waiting for delivery from out of state) for a decent $6.8K off MSRP, and not two days later I get a text from a dealer that an allocation has freed up and to send me my order specs for a purchase at $5K over MSRP. Wtf am I supposed to do now? First word problems I guess…
