I'm so glad I found this thread. I was ready to order a '25 Raptor (wanted the Space White) but I ended up going with a '24 Shelter Green that was at a dealer near me that I'll be picking up next week. I could live without the door keypad (although I do like the feature and used it regularly on my '18) but the empty buttons above the infotainment screen just looks so cheap. Anyway, I'm looking forward to getting back into a Raptor and I'm glad I'll have one with all of the buttons, lol.
Congrats on new Raptor. One of my business associates got a shelter green a few months ago, and seeing his truck really pushed me over the edge to order a Raptor.

I agree that the big blank next to the buttons over the screen looks out of place. I don't really notice it while driving, so it isn't a huge deal. I could see the new button layout being an advantage for someone who uses the phone or ipad mount that comes out on an arm from above the screen like Builtright sells.

You can probably still order that bank of buttons from a 2024. They probably won't have any functionality, but at least they'll look better.
I think having non-functional buttons would bug me more than the big blank. I will likely just leave it alone and hope the Gen 4 still actually has physical buttons when I'm ready to change. I'm not digging the trend of putting every control in the screen.

Interesting, I'm the opposite. I'd rather have a button that lights up and looks normal, because I'll never actually push it.
