For me, they can drop the paddle shifters. Having a switch on the shifter knob like the Gen 1's is adequate. They are more of a novelty item and I have never needed to use them even during the Raptor Assault course. My '23 R would be the same beast without them.

I haven't had a Ford for my last 3 vehicles, so I don't mind the changes too much. I did use the keypad on my '18 Raptor, but I haven't had a Ford since then so I don't miss it. I do think the button layout was better on the '24. The previous location for the camera button looks like it would be easier to find quickly.

The one thing I want to try to add is the lighted USB ports in the phone charger cubby. The '25 ditched the lights around the ports which makes them impossible to see at night. I'm guessing I can just buy the '24 part and it will be plug and play. I did something similar with a '16 Platinum when updating it to use CarPlay.

I think the '24 is a little better than the '25, but the changes are pretty small. The only real features that are lost are the lights around the USB ports and bed cleats. Sure, the keypad is now and option which feels very cheap on Ford's part. The rest of the changes are just in the way to access features. Some buttons moved and some went to the screen. Since I trade every 2 to 3 years, it made more sense to get the newest year model I could assuming the pricing was fairly close between the '24 and '25.
