I really wanted an R and found one in Montana. But am glad I bought a 37 instead. 450hp is enough for me. I totally get why people want an R. It is BadA@@!!!
Agree, and you can put your right foot on the floor without wondering if the rear will go first...I guess the R require more attention...

I purchased a 2024 Raptor R Wednesday for 3k over Msrp (moonroof/bed-liner). Just found out I have to redo the docusign today the finance guy made some errors and it’s void. I thought I got a decent deal. But after reading some articles on here about all the potential left over 24 deals that could happen. Maybe I should just cancel it and wait to see what happens with the market. No silly fees- truck, 3k over, tax, title fee and tag. I had planned to buy prepaid maintenance 3 yr/36k ($500) and 6 yr/unlimited miles tire/wheel/PDR/windshield warranty($550) separately from granger. Dealer quoted $2100 for the same.

I would have paid 3k over if I needed to. That doesn’t seem too excessive at all.

Better than waiting for another one and not knowing when it would come.

Take the deal. Unless you have purchased fleet vehicles or have given them 20k in trade in profit over the last couple years and you think they will sell it to you at MSRP. They can and will sell it for 5-10k over if they want to quickly. I feel like these are still going to be a bit over MSRP through the 2025 year. Until you see 2023 used going for under 100k anyway.
