2023 Raptor R ticking noise at bell housing

Had a ticking noise similar to wrench banging on exhaust pipe. Turned out to the starter gear not retracting and hitting the flex plate. 4,000 miles on the truck. replace starter and noise is gone. Just thought I would share.

Mine started doing what you're describing on cold starts around 1800 miles; would last for a few miles of driving or after the truck warmed up and the frequency would increase with RPM.

It finally went away on it's own and hasn't happened since and currently 3k miles. Good to have some additional context on the issue.
