Yeah, which makes me put my skeptical face on. There is no rhyme or reason for any of their build and slotting decisions. It is certainly not longevity of an order.

Sorry, I’m a newbie to this but if my build date is today, January 9, then when can I expect delivery? Is that still an unknown these days based on shipping/transportation issues?
It really varies, even when your truck finally gets built 100%, it goes to the shipper and then you still wait. For reference, mine was built Dec 9 and I have had several delivery updates, original ETA was 12/14/21 latest is a 1/21/22 ETA, while others with same build date got their trucks recently so we shall see...

Ordered 10/7, AMB. 801a and JUST 37s. No sunroof, pro power, bedliner, blue recaros etc. Scheduled build date 1/25. As funny as it sounds. I hope they push it a few weeks. I hate taking delivery of a new vehicle in the snow and slush….

That’s helpful, thanks. I reserved a “stock” build (so I didn’t personally build it but it’s the exact build I would have done) that had a build day of today, so fingers crossed for a quick delivery.

fingers crossed my man, try not to let the wait bother you. When you get it, it will be worth it. many of us on here are all over the map with our wait times and others have come fairly quick. Hopefully you will have it in a couple of months and enjoy the hell out of it

My dealer is a small dealer that received one allocation that has already been used for another customer; It already has a VIN and build date. I've purchased 7 or so trucks from them in the past several years so I feel I have a pretty good relationship. GM was upfront and said they did not have an allocation but may get another one considering I ordered a basic poverty trim 800A with Torsen, convenience pkg and spray in bed liner only.

It was submitted using COVP and a deposit down with my license. I will check back in 3 months and re-assess from there. I would rather take a chance than pay a 10k ADM. If nothing changes then I will pony up and get a Raptor R allocation if it doesn't come with the divorce package. I also ordered another F-150 for my business and never thought I would pay close to 50k for an XL CCLB but that's just the reality of the pricing now.
