At least Raptors get chips first :)

They could keep “building” 22s in December and put them on chip hold also

Yes, they will keep building, just not too far ahead of chips. Still, Raptors get chips before most other vehicles, high end always gets major4ity of chips.

I heard from a friend who has been struggling to get a Bronco built that the chip distribution is going to be equal between dealer stock and retail orders in 2022. I haven’t verified this myself but that throws another wrench in the wait if true.

Do you have any sources to support your statement?

Which statement? I have been watching and researching this debacle, one of about a dozen I have been watching, for the past two years and that is what I have seen.
I am both in the chip design business, and data analysis business.
I am often a tad early, but ususally correct, but again, I have made it clear these are not normal times, though I factor that in.
What I have seen is, high end vehicles and people waiting the longets get the chips.
As for the builds, even the correspondence I got with my order says they won't schedule until they have all the parts, though we know there are massive lots with trucks without chips.

Let us hope we all get our VIN soon, then at least we know we will have the truck somewhere next year!
