July 21. I was the only occupant. On the freeway I was hit in the rear corner of the cab, passenger side, an was sent into a flat spin. After a 180 it hit the shoulder, slid into the grass, the tires dug in and it began rolling down the hill into the ditch. I walked out where the sunroof used to be without a scratch. I do have a strained neck, which is painful, but extremely thankful for safety equipment and engineering!!
Amazing story and you weren’t even racing. Hopefully the neck comes around. Plans for a replacement baby?

Now that the rumors are flying about a 7.3 twin turbo being tested in the Ford GT maybe my comment about the 7.3 being the the Raptor R is not so far fetched.

What is the life expectancy of the SC on a Hellcat motor or the Predator motor? And knowing a truck with one will rack up more miles overall.

One of the guys from the GT forum who is well connected with Ford and the GT program has stated very strongly that's not whats going on here. Long story short - it was discussed but 1) keeping a reasonable size fuel tank was a big problem with the engine size 2) it got too late into the development cycle to share the engine cost across enough chassis for Ford's accounting to ok it.

The car being seen driven around was one of the earlier mules, the test pipes were never removed, the oil cap is just missing the little cover. He's been right on every other Ford thing he's commented on so I don't see him being wrong here
