After the upcoming $3,300 price increase a base 800a 2022 Raptor will MSRP for $70,370 with the destination fee. That‘s before checking a single option box.

Ford, now is a great time to reintroduce the SCAB at a lower price point.

There is already a thread about this and the $3k is not what hurts. It’s the ADMs that hurt.

I always thought these were a steal at $65k. I know people have strong opinions on base models vs fully loaded, but I think Ford’s margin on base models is less than high trims (for the Raptor).

Now at $70k, not so sure base model is worth it - my build sheet for a 22 37 is like $77k.

SCABs represented well under 10% of sales. I don't think I've ever seen one in person.

Price isn't the reason Ford dropped them. It's easier to maintain one product over 2. The sales of the SCAB were enough to justify their existence.

$70k US = $90k CDN. Now add your ADM and taxes…that well over $100k CDN for a base Raptor. They are only going up from here on top of this. Gotta pay to Play.

They must not have updated the build and price site yet. The MSRP on the B&P site w/destination charges is $67,070.
I've owned 2 Gen2 SCABs. I'd probably in the market for a Gen3 if they brought back the SCAB.
