It’s not that bad. Calm down. There are plenty of good things about the Gen 3 that off set the no V8.

I don't know if it's that bad, but they should of waited a couple of years and brought out a lot more goodies at once to let it stand out from the crowd. I don't run a major corporation so, what do I know, lol.

I don't know that they needed to wait a couple years, but a couple months would have made sense. If they had waited to May, they could have looked better prepared and gave out all the details, including something about the R. Could have opened up reservations at the same time with deliveries late summer/early fall. That seems so logical, that I must be missing something. Perhaps it has to do with the release of other vehicles, like Bronco, and they didn't want to 'step on themselves' so to speak.

Ford has a whole floor in their office set aside for marketing wizards, I'm hopeful it will all make sense in the coming months. At least a lot of Gen 2 owners got to drive their trucks around basically for free and then unloaded them for face value, the prices will start to drop now.

Probably, a lot depends on what the 21 Raps are selling for. If a fully loaded is approaching $80k, I think my 2017 with 25k miles should still get above $50k pretty easily.

Straight on view is definitely not good, I keep trying to like it but they did something to make it too square-ish and too tall, too flat, something is off proportion-wise. Angled view isn't so bad.

I guess this leaves room for them to do a 2023 / 24 refresh and change the front-end a bit.
