2021 Raptor info from my dealership

I think everyone is overlooking the blue truck from the media release. The truck in the studio didn’t have the graphics, but had the 37’s. Yeah it had the other high end options on the inside too. But I would think Ford would do the smart thing and offer 37’s without the recaros, and graphics. In fact over the 2019/2020 Model years the recaros is a rare option to find. I’ve only ran across one in the last several months on the used market.

Hypothetically speaking I would only want the 37’s for the slight gain in ground clearance and the fact I like the look of that wheel.

Oh and finding a dealership that would not mark up a 2021 Raptor is the other challenge....

The Recaros in the Gen 2 are nice. The blue accents are different and I think that’s why I still would like to find a Gen 2 with that option. It wasn’t over done and the center console was still black. The dark contrast is nice too. I’m not a fan of the light aluminum/chrome look of the new one. I would need to see it in person to make the final call on that for me.
On a side note on prices of Raptor’s here in the mid west. After the announcement yesterday some used Raptors jumped $2k in price. The one 2019 SCrew I had my eye on sold yesterday. So I’m kind of kicking myself right now on that. I guess waiting a little longer for more information is not a bad thing. I hope Ford has a test drive day at some point.

Waiting for info from my dealer, love the idea of 37's, but I agree I like the clean no decal look! Rapid Red & blue interior sounds horrible!

So I'm a big fan of the interior color scheme of my '19 with the Recaro seats. I really love how the seats feel on and off road so if I do decided to jump to a Gen3 I would want those seats. With that being said I hate that you can only get them in 1 color and it seams to be the same for the Gen3. I wish we had some other interior color choices.

From what I got with the TFL video about the 35" vs 37" was that the Fox shocks were different and the rear sub frame was also different. The diameter of the shocks shaft was larger at 1" and the rear was pushed out 25mm to accommodate the 37" spare.

If I order.... I'd want:
1) 37s
2) Recaro's
3) 12" infotainment screen ( I don't care for the B&O system and would replace it within a year anyway)
4) No decals
5) No moon roof
6) 2kw Generator.

Unfortunately I would most likely have to get all the other crap since you can't get it a la carte. I could care less about ACC, LKA or any of those other nanny things.

I bet code orange will be exclusive to the 37" package.

I'm really hoping that they bring performance blue back. i do see it's still available for the gt500, so it should still be here for the raptor.
