Don’t pay any attention to fordtechone. He thinks any problem a ford has must be the owners fault. No way ford could ever engineer something that’s not perfect. You musta screwed it up somehow. Just ignore him. He obviously has a hard time with reading comprehension. He’s not here to help he’s here to protect fords ineptitude and make it your fault.
So you literally bumped this post just to bring me up? And then you make untrue claims about me because you can’t accept responsibility for your own actions?

Do better guy.

Los Angeles.
IWE, cam phasers, plastic oil pans, leaking front diff seals, etc etc. Ford has plenty of responsibility in designing subpar vehicles. 1 in every 149 vehicles ford makes gets bought back. 4th highest in the industry behind jag, Nissan, and
fiat.
I’m not the one that needs to do better.
At least ford techs will always be in demand.

And just who the hell are you? Not exactly an introductory 1st post.

Or is this a 2nd Nimrod account?

You’ve repeatedly made claims about “known issues” and “widespread problems” that not only don’t exist, but are not even mechanically possible. The engine cannot “put too much oil into the turbos”, even if oil pump relief valve hung open, the oil pressure to the turbo oil feed lines is regulated.

As far as your Parts and Service zone manager source, those are non-technical people. They’re sales consultants; they do not get involved in technical information or repairs, nor are they trained to.

You keep claiming you have “zero liability” yet it’s right in the Owner’s Manual that it’s owner’s responsibility to check the oil level. Nobody is required to “tell you” anything when it’s literally provided to you in print.
As I’ve said a dozen times, you’re wrong. Not being able to admit you’re wrong is a major flaw in your character.

For your reference, the service bulletin I referenced before that you said didn’t exist or couldn’t happen. Stop replying to this thread because you simply don’t know what you’re talking about. https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2020/MC-10175892-0001.pdf

Amazing how you can claim someone else is “wrong” when you don’t have the slightest clue what you’re talking about.

Wow, you got me! Since you have so much “inside” knowledge from Ford people that just love to tell a random used vehicle customer unpublished “known issues”, please explain how the TSB fixes the turbocharger oil consumption issue.

In my case, it didn’t but I’ve talked to the owner of the dealership and he said it has fixed dozens of others. He even showed me the RO’s from those vehicles.

There is more going on with my truck. They haven’t figured it all out yet but the short block and all other parts just came in, so I will know much more detail as soon as they break the engine down.

So the Dealer owner not only interfaces directly with customers, but also takes time out of his day to pull historical ROs to show you examples of other vehicles that were fixed?

We’re still waiting for you to explain the TSB you posted and how it addresses the excessive turbocharger oil consumption issue. You’ve stated over and over that I’m “wrong”, so obviously you have the answers. Please explain for everyone.

Yes, he takes the time because he’s a friend of my in-laws, who also own dealerships. Ford is one of the few they don’t have. He’s a nice guy.

You’re obviously not listening or reading anything. They don’t know what’s causing it in my truck until they tear it down. That, again, hasn’t happened yet.

I will update everyone else what I learn when I get more info. As for you, I won’t respond to any more of your posts. I hope you learn how to admit you’re wrong because that’s a major character flaw. You’re probably posting on here all day every day because you can’t hold a job or a relationship because of it - or at least partially because of it. I hope your life gets better and you continue to help people in areas where you do know what you’re talking about. Cheers!
