If you're the type to add PPF & ceramic coat stuff and/or are a crackerjack detail nut yourself w/ all the tools and/or you DO NOT use your truck for tighter trail backwoods offroading.....then I say black. Black is the best looking color on most any damn vehicle w/ decent lines it is simply exhausting/infuriating to keep looking good. Even when you're protected from swirl marks/clear coat scratches by heavy coats of ceramic, wax, and/or PPF while the paint may not be getting any permanent damage w/ all that protection it'll still ALWAYS look dirtier than any other color given the same amount of dirt/circumstances.
Silver is probably the easiest color to maintain other than white, but for me also neuters the "menacing" look of the Raptor for me & makes it blend into the F150 crowd alot easier b/c I feel like the body lines aren't as sharp in that color + probably some of the least contrast between the wheels/bumper trim.
IMHO I have a black '18 Raptor, before that I had a black GMC Sierra All Terrain before that a black Chevy Silvy before that a white GMC Sierra & currently also have a black C5Z vette that ironically is currently getting a full paint correction as I type this.
As a fellow blackaholic....on a DD truck that is made for & is very tempting to offroad in.....don't do it to yourself. While black looks way way better IMO when clean than silver, silver will be alot easier to live with.
If I had to do it all over again I would've gone for a white 801A Raptor - love the "storm trooper" white/black contrast, really makes everything pop. If you do go w/ silver I'd opt for maybe the hood decals or something to shake it up a bit....maybe add some rappy grahpics etc.
Lastly....one other upside to black vs. pretty much all the other colors - the wheel wells don't look chintzy/outta place w/ the lighter colored 1/2 ass painted insides showing. Alot of guys add fender well liners or linex the insides. Black is black.
