Well taking into consideration the majority, I think I’m going to call the police tomorrow. Insurance has lapsed so I’ll be getting some more today. Apparently the shipper was fully insured by I decided to get insurance anyways.

Look into the military offering lawyer services and even if you go to one out in town they will have a free consultation. Go ask a lawyer for advice this week!

I would kill people that ever do me this like this. They better be hoping that the truck is safe and on the way or else they will have a shotgun to their face waiting. you have given enough patience. this is not a game of who gets the truck now, it is who is going to be alive at the end of this. certainly, I would call lawyers and take this to court. They will not win, you have so much evidence. I will fight this to death, as much as I love my truck no one, no one in the world should **** with you like that. I would kill anyone and everyone if this happened to me. tell the dealership to take better action cuz if they don't they will lose their licensing. this is fraud and theft and some shady shit. ****** this is making me pissed just reading it.

LOL, I don’t think I’d do that but I get what ya mean. It’s been a month long nightmare.

Well, you win the award for the toughest guy on the internet.

OP, I hope you get your truck. I would get an attorney involved first thing Monday morning.

This may true or it may be hyperbole, but consider this: If you ever do have to shoot someone someday, this post is out in public for a prosecutor to find. You're giving him an opportunity to say that you weren't panicked and in fear for your life because you've been thinking about it since November of 2021 and looking for an excuse. That could make the difference between freedom and jail if it isn't a clear-cut situation. Or you could lose everything in a civil case because of it. Thoughts like this are best kept to oneself.

Dude you’re being way too nice and/or passive about this. Police. Today. I’d be at that dealership as well talking to the owner, not some ******** manager who has lost your $60k truck. This is theft in my opinion and would treat it as such. Also maybe call insurance if you had it insured and report it stolen with them as well.

Or how about, don't be so primitive and not resort to this kind of an attitude.

Calling the cops is a waste of time. It’s a civil matter between the dealership and the shipping company since the transportation a contractual agreement. Police deal with criminal issues, not civil. Unless Canada law differs from the US.

Lesson learned: never trade in a vehicle until your new truck is parked next to it......

If the dealer is showing that it's delivered, where was it delivered?
Didn't someone have to sign any paperwork?
I think your dealer is full of shit.
Like we've been saying, get a lawyer, or better yet, do you have a friend who's a lawyer?
Get them to send the dealer a letter threatening to sue. Worked for me in the past.
