No hate here...lift kits are good for mud bogging, but Raptors aren’t mud bog trucks. Raptors are high speed off road trucks, and lift kits take all that ability away by altering the suspension geometry to the point that the truck can’t do it anymore.

Mud bogging aside, lift kits are primarily installed for reasons of “looks”...as in, “that looks badass!”...the problem is that by going with one of these kits (frame cut on the newer models) the truck might look badass, but it won’t BE badass. It’ll be a mall crawler.

Instead of some cheapo lift kit, why not a mid travel kit up front with new ‘undersprung’ springs in back, and some 4” shocks all around? You’ll get good additional ride height, and you’ll be driving 70 mph off road where your lift-kit buddies can only drive 20.

THATS badass!!!

Haha correct the 4K lift kit will not operate the same as the 25k suspension you recommend lolol

Better than yours
Thank you. I ordered a Cirrus 670 camper made for 1/2 ton short bed pickups. I thought initially that I would just get a new Raptor but this looked so ideal for my needs, why not. 38" meats too. Ordered an R1 Concepts brake system for her as well. Did it on my old Roush and they put F150 stock brakes to shame. I liked the Roush just for the stage 2 Coyote supercharged 5.0.. Nothing but fun! Cheers!

Hey guys I know not everyone is going to like it lol but I did buy a rocky ridge 2019 raptor. It has the 4” fabtech kit and running 37”s. I have owned a lot of vehicles and this right here I have to say is my favorite so far. I usually do a lot of work to my vehicles and I know it’s frowned upon to lift a raptor but I can say this thing is a beast. I myself probably will never do any running but I do have a place back in Colorado a lot of dirt roads and trails camping that’s what I got this truck for. I’ve owned Jeep’s lifted 2500’s and this is my fav so far. I’ve done my share of off road rock crawling and just had fun all around. That’s what I’m going to use this truck for. Fun!! If you want a lifted raptor, get one who cares if that’s your style and you don’t plan on going high speed running then get it. This lift has capability still and if your worried about the shock brackets buy different coil overs. They sell what you need. You can even weld the shit you think has weak points. If you have the money anything can be done you can make anything as capable as the next guy don’t let people shoot down your goals and think that the raptor is meant to stay the same or whatever. Make it work for you that’s the great thing about life trial and error we are all enthusiasts. Just because the next door neighbor has a BMW keeping up or mirroring the Jones’s is not me. Ima keep doing what I like. As should you.83331613-BAD5-496A-B36A-84A40A95C659.jpeg9B9A86DA-9125-426C-AF32-92A9A51AA63C.jpeg9333210B-B69F-4A72-BC0A-CCDA01AB50A8.jpeg

I actually like the way the lift looks just not crazy about the wheel design choice but overall looks great.

Yeah the wheels aren’t to my taste either but that’s a pretty good looking bumper.
