2019 Raptor lift question

Hello Everbody! I need some help please. Does anybody have a 4 inch Fabtech lift on their gen 2 raptor with 35 inch tires? All I can find is pictures of 37 inch tires. I just bought 20 inch rims on 35 inch ridge grapplers. Now I'm going to install 4 inch fabtech lift. I'm concerned that the tires will look to small! Is anybody out there running 4 inch lift on 35s? If so, Please post pic or comment. It will be HIGHLY appreciated!


Lift kits are what posers drive. If you want to destroy the suspension on a truck, please do it to a regular F150 and not a Raptor.

Surprised to read your signature; "Honorably Discharged United States Marine (enlisted)". i mean i have such a respect for your title, but i drive a lifted truck...... why such hate man. i always thought marines are the most sophisticated individuals. Loosen up a bit Sir, try respecting other people and their choices, whatever they love.
and btw, if suspension gets destroyed, get a new one.

No hate here...lift kits are good for mud bogging, but Raptors aren’t mud bog trucks. Raptors are high speed off road trucks, and lift kits take all that ability away by altering the suspension geometry to the point that the truck can’t do it anymore.

Mud bogging aside, lift kits are primarily installed for reasons of “looks”...as in, “that looks badass!”...the problem is that by going with one of these kits (frame cut on the newer models) the truck might look badass, but it won’t BE badass. It’ll be a mall crawler.

Instead of some cheapo lift kit, why not a mid travel kit up front with new ‘undersprung’ springs in back, and some 4” shocks all around? You’ll get good additional ride height, and you’ll be driving 70 mph off road where your lift-kit buddies can only drive 20.

THATS badass!!!

Now that is a sophisticated beautiful reply. I agree with every single word u said. isn't look good is what everyone is after eventually.

If 70 mph off road is the end goal, then why not 100 mph and go for baja style pre runner. Majority of raptor owners buy raptors because, its a truck, it looks good, best infect, its bulky bulgy, big roomy on road off road family trips office trips and all the usual things, occasional weekends offroading and some 70mph runs. Maybe 1% are buying raptors for only offroading or 70mph desert runs.

What i believe is telling someone what to do and what not to do with their trucks will always be biased with personal choices. Its like telling someone how to spend their first wedding night. What positions should be tried ;)

I say let them do their own thing. Its their night, they can do however they please, they love, they like.
Every individual is different, some are artists, some are engineers. Artists will usually choose style over engineers who would go technical probably.

Now why i lifted, i love the view from sitting up there. i can see everything around me. that commanding position is what i was after. i love the look. m 6.3'' and going in n out is super nice. and the presence is awesome and i love it. Now does it make me a poser........................if it does, nothing i can do about it.

Years ago i used to hate those jumping cars with some hydraulic controller with very tiny wheels, and then there are those sedan type cars with 30+ inch rims. But now i dont mind it at all. i mean who m i to judge. i understand its their culture, if that is what they like and love to do so be it. just not my cup of tea.

What one should look for is the effort and passion someone puts in. choices will always be different all around the globe.

At their cores, pickup trucks are utilitarian, do-all sorts of vehicles. Their components are a mixup of compromises to give them a balance of different capabilities from towing to load hauling to creature comforts. All pickups except one that is...

Raptors are purpose built vehicles. Our trucks have limited capabilities for things like towing, but it’s not built for that. It’s built to drive really fast off road. We can modify our trucks to go even faster off-road too. As to your question about the difference between 70 and 100 mph...well the answer is it’s about another $30K to do so. Everyone knows we are Boss when it comes to this and they are jealous as shit over it.

They buy lights to look like us, fender flares, offset wheels and tires, some even buy graphics...all in an effort to phony up their stock truck to look like a Raptor. You know it’s true!

Why in the hell would anyone gut the Raptor of its unique abilities in order to phony IT up (more like phony it down) to look like a regular mall crawler? You’re running the wrong way.

if phony looks are so important get a Dodge. Then you can have phony hood scoops and fender flares galore and no real ability to boot. Save a lot of money too!

Well i look at it this way, its their money, out of their pockets, its their truck, they can put whatever the hell they want, whatever they LIKE, its their right to do so. they earned it. if they like dodge, they can buy a dodge too. they can buy gmc and cadillac as well. good for them. if they can sleep at night. its all good.

See there is a positive way looking at things and there is a negative way. Its our choice which one we choose. for example, m a stock trader, to me, putting 70 k in a truck is the silliest thing when you can invest it and make 10 times more in 6 months. but its ok if you are already making 10 times and spent 70k out of profit.

But then again this is how i think, this a what my circumstances and experiences are. and like the rock says, 'it doesnt matter what u think' or what i think.
If looking like raptors make them happy, let them be happy. Let yourself be happy too. Life is unpredictable and short.

I agree. The thing is, money is nice but it’s not worth anything if you don’t spend it and enjoy yourself sometimes. I spent 50 on mine used and that’s a lot for me but I invested a lot more than that in the last few years and have driven A couple sub 20k and mostly sub 10k cars my entire life. You can’t take it with you.

Also to your other point, hate follows you everywhere If you embrace it; that’s exhausting. Live and let live. You’ll sleep better at night.

my opinion to the OP is if you want your truck taller, so be it. If I were of the same opinion I’d at least make sure I did the suspension work necessary to keep the functionality of the Raptor since that’s what you decided to start with. But that’s the engineer in me.

Howdy folks! I just purchased a 2018 Raptor with only 12k miles and I LOVE this truck! This is the baddest truck I’ve ever driven.

With that said, (IMHO) the truck “feels like” it deserves a high flow intake, a performance tune, and a louder and deeper sounding catback exhaust. The truck also “looks like” like it should ride a bit higher. In researching these topics, I learned the Shelby Raptor comes stock with a Whipple intake kit that includes a high flow intake, a larger intercooler, a performance tune, a 4” lift kit, and 37” tires.

I’m new to the truck and to this forum, so I’d love to hear some thoughts on how the folks at Shelby pulled this off and people are paying $120k for the “upgraded” version of our truck.

Just bought a used 2019 4" lifted beast. My reason is for off-road muddy and or tough terrain. Not into the high-speed Baja runs, just hunting/fishing and camping. New camper is coming and would be glad to share pics when complete. Also, will be adding several new performance parts.
