Has anyone else confirmed recaros come in black as well as blue? Unless something was misunderstood my builder at the dealer says they can come in black as well

recaros as far as I understand is blue, part of the blue accent package, regular seats would be just like the 18’s all leather black, I’m not aware of any recaro without being the blue accent package ones

My understanding is that the blue accent package has the Recaro blue “coverings”.

I assume the 802A package has Recaro seats, but all black leather. This is why the Blue Accent Package is only offered with 802A package.

Can any dealer confirm this?

the order guide only mentions recaro as part of the blue accent package, so I don’t think there were any updates to the seats with the 802a package compared to the 18s

Correct, but the description of the Blue Accent Package is: Recaro Unique Seat/Console Coverings w/Blue Accents. Also in the Color and Trim Availability of order guide: Raptor Interior Color Blue Accent Package: It states Blue Accent Front Seats- Unique Leather Insert Seating Surfaces.

Who knows the way it is written there makes you assume it is only coverings. So I am hoping the non accent seats are still heavily bolstered as they are in the picks with the blue.

The 2400 includes the carbon fiber package which is around 1k by itself. So really you are paying 1400 for blue alcantara. Which is about right as alcantara is more expensive usually than leather.

That is on par pricing(1k MY18) when compared to orange accent.

I think what’s also gives it away is that the rear seats also have the blue alcantara.

Entirely possible the $1400 difference is for blue alcantara inserts vs black alcantara inserts on the same Recaro seats. On the 2018 the orange accent package was $795 and that’s was for orange vs grey leather trim on the seat edges. Alcantara is always more. They refer to it as the Raptor Interior Color Blue Accent Package which is described as:

“Blue Accent Front-Seats – 40/console/40, Unique Leather Insert Seating Surfaces, Blue Accent Rear-Seat Seating Surfaces. Unique Dash and Door-Panel Appliqué Finish.”

There is no mention of Recaro as being part of that package. They use the word “unique” instead which is also used in the description of the standard seats when you don’t get the blue accent package. They also make it a point to specify “surfaces” which implies there are no change to the seat structure or design itself. Nobody knows for sure until the blue oval fat lady sings but all signs are pointing to Recaros being standard on all 2019 Raptors.
