2019 Raptor Intel

Not sure how true this is but putting it out there since there are others like me that their orders placed in Aug/Sept still aren’t scheduled.

The GM of my dealership blamed my delay on the beadlock wheels. He explained they are scarce so scheduling orders with beadlocks are taking longer in some cases. Again not sure I believe it but that is the current line I am being fed.

My order date is 9/15. He said I will get pulled for scheduling in December, build late January, Feb or early March delivery. 1/2 year to deliver a truck.

Good thing is I paid MSRP which in NY is the best you will do and my patience muscles are getting lots of exercise.

I ordered before order banks opened. 1st allocation at my dealership. Order entered the day order banks opened with priority 01. Scheduled for production week Nov 7. Pushed back to Nov 23. Now pushed back to production week dec 10 with eta Jan 6 to CA. I ordered beadlocks... but so did many people that are now receiving their cars as well as many “for stock” raptors shipped and on dealer lots now without a customer attached to them. IMO more to this than a beadlock shortage.

And they couldn’t even spring for the tailgate appliqué?

I ordered mine without the appliqué.

I’m not 100%. But I think when you get an unscheduled/clean status, the clean means there are no issues with the parts? Ive had a clean status every week since 10/10... so if clean matches what I said above, it should mean beadlocks recaros etc. are not an issue.

Hi, QQ, I went to look at a 2019 802A that I was going to have my dealer DX and it wasn't on the lot today, it may have been inside the dealership but I didn't go in. My dealer is checking to see if it's available. My dealer can also get the exact truck Im looking for (with literally every option) but it's a 2018. So my questions:

Graphics. They do not move my needle, but it appears the 2019s on the rear quarter panels are more substantial and look better, thoughts?

The 2018 has hard tonneau (dealer installed) on the window sticker. Is that a Ford item? Any good? I was planning on installing a Bak MX4 and do not want a crappy cover.

I know the shocks are different in the 2019. What else? It's a Magnetic exterior, I don't want the 2019 blue seat option.

The last thing I want to do is "settle" at this point. I don't want to get the 2018 and wish I had the 2019 in 2 weeks. Thoughts? Hold out for the 2019, right?

Was jus scheduled for 12/17 build! Best guess on when the truck arrives? It was scheduled for build one week after I ordered it at the dealer.

Man stuff like this chaps my hide. I was scheduled back in sept for Week of nov 7 but pushed back to dec 10. I waited all this time and you just got scheduled for 12/17. Happy for you pissed for me. LOL!

Possible that beadlocks are coming in small batches with some customers getting them and then not available again for a while.

My tracker just updated and pushed my delivery ETA back to 12/14. At least something happened.
