in the days of everyone having a smart phone, why not just remove the buttons all together and just have it on an app?

That doesn't look as bad, but I'm just not a big fan of the oversized handle apparatus. The current handles are much more "integrated" into the door, and adding the keypad would increase the size. The pillars don't bother me in the least, though I can see your point.

What I tend to get my ******* in a bunch over are the virtual keys. My wife's Explorer has those, and I can rarely get the code right the first time around. Whereas my F150 I have zero problems.

I mostly use the code when I'm out working in my garage and want to grab something from my truck, but don't have my phone or keys nearby.

Though that does pose a question for me, somewhat unrelated: Does anyone know if you can control the windows from Ford Pass? I can't count the number of times I've had the windows cracked in the summer, and had to run out to my truck to close them due to some incoming storms.

The graphics have changed. Basically my build as well, minus graphics & beadlocks.
