Placed order on 9/9 from a CA dealer in the central valley. Beadlocks, no recaros, no stickers. Dealer said I'd get scheduled late October for late December delivery as that is the next "production run". Sound like she's singin me a song as I have not been able to substantiate that Raptors are built in batches. I'm still "Clean Unscheduled" as of today and am gonna have a chat with my dealer this weekend.

I wonder if Ford thinks adding "clean" to "unscheduled" makes it an easier pill to swallow.. Had a blow out on my 2001 SL500 on my commute to the bay area yesterday. The old gal is falling apart and way out of her element commuting over the altamont to a jobsite in silicon valley @ 4AM each day! Need my Raptor!

Anyone else have an order date early September and been scheduled already? How large is your dealer if so? Any info appreciated!

Per ice-capades at blue oval forums (11/1/18):

The "OK to Buy" status has not been achieved yet for the F-150 and there is no F-150 scheduling next week.

This mean they are taking a week to go over everything that’s already built?

Why do you like a scab better than a screw?
We go off road a lot. We will use the Raptor mostly on seasonal roads and mild off road. I have a very capable Jeep that I keep in Moab for serious off road. I am used to a Jeep with a much smaller wheelbase. Maneuvering around obstacles is easier as you shorten the wheelbase. Climbing things gets easier with a longer wheelbase. Comfort gets better with a longer wheelbase. So while I wish the Raptor had a slightly shorter wheelbase, the Scab is the best for me. Also do not need more room in the back seat, and the way my garage is set up I don't have the length. I do wish the departure angle was better, but I probably will look at a new rear bumper and cut off the exhaust. This Raptor will spend about 25% of its time off the pavement.
