2019 Raptor Intel

I called FP today. They said my order was placed 8/15 but still unscheduled. I asked her if I should check every Thursday. She said that didn't matter what day of the week. The other thing was I would know more once they started 2019 production. I asked her if I was at least out until 11/12 for production if I got into production next week. She said no that they could put it in at anytime before once production started. This doesn't seem like real advice. Any thoughts? BTW this is the largest dealer in the state and have had about 10 Raptors in the last 2 months.

You're probably better off having a build date a little later. The first few days of production, everyone is still getting the feel of the new model and working out any potential kinks.

This is the only reason why I was happy not to be in the first week of production. I hope everything goes great for everyone's trucks.

Normally I would agree with you. However, since the 19 is 95% the same as the 18, I think the learning curve is very small. I hope so, as mine is scheduled the first week.
