Go back to the pics posted of the red 2019 raptor and the pics of the 2019 at the auto show. No blue means no recaros for sure. That said, the only difference is seat cover material and slightly more aggressive side bolsters. Seat bottom is the same so IMO they should be called sport seats but marketing... LOL!

But the promo photos show the blue seats with Carbon trim and the order sheets at dealer show blue package OR Carbon package....

Correct. Blue recaro package comes with recaros AND carbon interior. If you don’t get blue recaros you have to add on carbon trim separately

Ok, that makes sense, I just didn’t want blue all over on interior...the seat inserts I can deal with. I’ll switch to Blue!

Yes. You can’t order both blue and carbon fiber packages. But blue comes with carbon fiber.

I called FP today. They said my order was placed 8/15 but still unscheduled. I asked her if I should check every Thursday. She said that didn't matter what day of the week. The other thing was I would know more once they started 2019 production. I asked her if I was at least out until 11/12 for production if I got into production next week. She said no that they could put it in at anytime before once production started. This doesn't seem like real advice. Any thoughts? BTW this is the largest dealer in the state and have had about 10 Raptors in the last 2 months.

They could have placed 10 other orders with your order and had your number higher. Then based on allocation, Ford would pick the lower numbers first (10 is better than 20). If they had 5 allocations and you are 10 on their list, yours will sit until they get to the 10th allocation for that dealer. Also, customer orders are supposed to be pulled before stock orders.

Just keep contacting them asking when your order is scheduled. 1-2 times per week is probably plenty. FWIW, my order was placed on 08/17, originally scheduled for 11/05, but bumped to 11/19. I would be surprised if your order was scheduled any earlier than 11/19 since it seems like the build schedules prior have filled up.

Oh, and "largest dealer in the state" is something literally every salesman and dealer will tell you. It's rarely true, and doesn't mean anything. All that matters is open allocations. Turns out, they're car salesmen.
