I have a 2018 Raptor with 70K miles on it. I tow a boat which is 4500lbs on a double axle 23 foot trailer. The trailer uses surge braking and not electric.

I looking to refresh everything, along with help the Raptor tow better. Currently, it really bounces from bumps. I would love to stop that. I am certain my rear springs are worn out, as they sit near flat now. Even when empty, I have a Ridgelander hard top cap with racks, and supports for kayaks and bikes. Empty I’m certain my bed is 400lbs extra.

What are you thoughts from experience? I don’t mind having the truck wind up a taller, but not by much. Denver +3HD seem to be popular for the ride height I need with the 450lbs extra carry capacity. I’m not sure what springs to go with up front to keep normal height. I like the raked look when the back sit a bit higher.

Lastly, would it be foolish for me to simply replace the OEM with OEM, or is there a far better choice? It’s a pavement Princess so I don’t need wild offroad setups.

Thank you!

@Mystic_2003 it is. I posed in the wrong forum with the other post. The correct thread would belong here. I couldn’t figure out how to move it or close it.

Anyway, would love if there is someone who has refreshed their GEN2 Raptor to simply add better towing capability to offer me some advice. I have been searching with plenty of results, but I keep landing on ones that feel more aligned with raising the truck, more off-roading capabilities, etc. Mine is admittedly the “pavement Princess” category. Thanks all.

Ditto with my 2018 truck as well, lots of towing our 19ft Airstream, 70K miles, and I'm figuring some $$$ has to be spent now.
