Thanks for the information on the lighting, cover and the CAI. Any thoughts on this surging question I posed?

Also, I had the 2012 and I can't help but notice as I drive this 2018 more, I have a "surging" sensation when I am simply cruising down the road. It could be 25 MPH or 55 MPH but it's like it has a "miss", "hesitation", "surge", etc. A bit annoying to say the least. It even does it when I use cruise control Any insights that you experts might share with me? BTW, that was before I installed the CAI...…...that mod is actually occurring today.

Bumparoo…...

Does the transmission shift during the surge or do anything funny during the event? If so check your build date and have the Transmission TSB performed; I have even read on here that regardless of build date the TCM flash cured the problems.

Thanks! Yes, at low speeds it is shifting but it still has this surge sensation at 55 as well...….also, when I watch the display for the shifts, it seems to "skip" gears on its way to 10th gear.....is that normal?

In normal mode it is designed to skip gears; put it in sport mode and see if it still occurs. Sport mode is designed to no skip gears, but hold them longer and up the shift firmness.

No surging on my 2018...

Run a Camburg 1.5" frt spring spacer...I would not lift it more...

Would not spend a single dollar on any intake kit...in my experience they make more noise, not power. Also some make things worse if you do any water crossings...

Reverse lights? I highly recommend the Baja Designs S2 sport wide cornering reverse kit...too much light and it can wash out the reverse camera...The S2 Sport puts out just the correct amount

And the SDHQ "A" pillar light brackets with the BD XL80 Driving Combo...these are really good!

You already went with a RC light kit....I am not a fan of ANYTHING rough Country....:)
