Ford makes 10 times more XLT's and Lariat's than Raptor's yet the number of used trucks isn't that different. I didn't think I needed to explain that in my original post, but apparently I thought wrong.

It was a joke... lighten up Francis. I think most people know production numbers on Raptors are waaaay lower than other trim levels. This whole post is stupid but sooo entertaining. Out of roughly 23,000 total Raptors produced in 2017, I don't think 132 (just over 1/2 percent) is an epidemic.

I wonder if at least some of these are the trucks that all the auto mags/online guys got to review, then had to send back, then we're auctioned off, and end up in the used market?

Just a thought...

These are media pool vehicles, and are typically recycled into test mules. The general public doesn’t usually see these vehicles.
