Laugh all you want, but the number does seem high to me as well.

There are 813 trucks for sale on cars.com with the following search criteria:
Nationwide, Used, 2017, F150, 4X4, SCREW & SCAB, All Trims

By trim:
XLT: 299
Lariat: 161
Raptor: 132
Base: 117
XL: 54
Platinum: 20
King Ranch: 18
Limited: 12

I would think Raptor would be in the Platinum/King Ranch range, but that's not the case at all.

Looking at the prices and miles, it seems most listings fall into two camps. Low mileage flippers charging a markup, or higher milage trucks selling for what appears to be MSRP. Higher milage guys are using the Raptor's popularity to drive a it for "free" for a year, assuming they bought it at MSRP.

With such a strong used selling price, I think a lot of sellers are taking advantage of that, versus selling because they think the truck is junk.

Doesn't seem like a whole lot for a NATION wide search. Besides the point made above, Raptor is also one of those "halo" vehicles that will attract buyers who can't really afford it.

Right - I was just amazed at how many used trucks available considering the late launch and delayed deliveries.

Not a big used market, and the ones on the market are priced so high that you might as well make a new order. Still too new, haven't been on the market long enough for used supply to trickle out.

25,000 have been built. A few hundred used trucks is a rounding error compared to the numbers that have been sold.

Gen1 market is CRASHING, better sell the gen 1 trucks fast.

I’ll bet it’s because you keep blindly auto-responding to posts with weep hole recommendations, even to the gen 1 guys.

since they have no intercooler, they drill their radiators and, well... there you go.

The used 2017 market is probably most likely due to the people who had to have this truck so bad they were willing to pay the $1500 monthly payment. Or the reality of paying 4%+ interest on top of an overpriced truck was downright foolish.

Then 6 months later not so much, sell that **** for a huge loss cause it's not worth it.

Me? - Just waiting for the time to strike on a used 17 truck with low miles for $50k cash, give or take $5K depending on what it has for options.
Sold, great deal, no markup, no tax, no interest and same truck as the fools who paid twice as much to be cool and make tunnel exhaust videos! So glad this world is full of rich idiots.

And no, my GEN1 is not for sale and will be kept in the family because it is a better truck. Put all the business miles on that new P.O.S....
