Ok thanks man Im gonna change the bov first on Mon or Tuesday then go from there. Where is the intake manifold pressure sensor located?
For sure. Do one thing at a time so that way you know what it was.
The MAP sensor is on the manifold
Sensor in air intake tube is the turbo charge inlet pressure sensor.
One is before throttle body the other is after.

The torn o-ring on the BPV is going to definitely cause a boost leak, so start with that. The BPV diaphragm could also be faulty; if you can blow air through the BPV with it disconnected, its failed.

that doesn’t seem like a common failure, at least not from FRF lore.

How much boost are you seeing under normal conditions?

He’s got a tune, so he’s running higher than stock. He mentioned earlier the truck was pushing 21-22PSI before his issue occurred. Might be taking its toll on the factory BPV.

Yes the truck was running 21/22 psi with the the timing advanced a little. KR is right where we want it Spent hours and 13 revisions with the tuner until we got it perfect. Now I think it builds 1psi if it was just the split oring would I only loose a little boost?

Exactly why my tune remains stock. More than enough power and responsiveness for anything I've needed to do off road. Hopefully, you get it fixed.

If it is the BOV, just go ahead and get that turbosmart fella. We'll hear you from Pluto (if its still a damn planet).

Ok thanks I will try this when I get a chance. The factory bov will be here tomorrow will install if I have time. That torn o ring is why I’m gonna change it It’s only 80$ so not too bad. I’m gonna order aftermarket one too just to have at my house if it blows again I will use better one.
