These lights look great but what is the warranty on them? I have had some bad experiences with Chinese lights in the past.

5 year no hassle warranty. I don't think these are cheap Chinese lights lol. M&R will have to confirm that

DOT approved for legal on-road use?

No they are about 20000 lumens on output. But you have the option to change your lighting patterns to make it tolerable. Probably won't find a dot approved light for in there.

^^^ Not so about DOT approved fog lights. Every halogen fog light I've ever bought or looked at is DOT approved. DOT has been either slow or reluctant to approve LED fog lights, but there are a few.

20,000 lumens isn't a fog light, it's an aircraft landing light! DOT will never approve them as fog lights or as anything else. They are off-road lights wrongfully characterized as fog lights. In other words, ticket magnets.

Exactly led fogs that actually produce a decent light will not be DOT approved. If you're so worried about it don't run em. I'm sure you never do anything illegal in your truck like speed... the company never advertised these were street legal.

In fact, you CAN be sure that I don't speed. I'm a sworn reserve sheriff's deputy and I set a good example. Also, a Nevada state trooper wouldn't be shy about giving a sheriff's deputy a ticket.

The point that I'm making - and that you're missing - is that fog lights are most likely to be used on the road. 1) What point are fog lights that you can't use where and when you're most likely to need them, 2) Where is the wisdom in "fog lights" that'll draw the unwelcome attention (and associated expense and points on your driver's license) of law enforcement, and 3) Why spend good money on fog lights that are going to be trouble?

Why not buy street legal fog lights???

Because I personally don't like having light bars strung all over my truck. I like to keep it clean and simple. Those fogs produce more lumens than most 30in light bars x2 while being clean in your bumper pocket. And I can utilize them at night in the desert when I'm shooting which I do often. Just because they are fogs doesn't mean I have to run them on the street and risk tickets but I will anyways [emoji51][emoji1303] (just the amber lights)

Why don't you go buy dot approved fog lights? Adults can decide what they are going to do, and deal with tickets if they get them.

How many people are running with these lights? Like them? What type / style did you choose?
