I hate posting these videos because Its hard for the camera to capture all the light due to auto adjustment. They never do lights justice but here they are.

To all ..... For what it is worth, I placed my order today and I want everybody to know that I am extremely pleased with their level of service and responsiveness. I am new to ordering this type of lighting, so I have probably exchanged three or four texts/calls with them today to get everything finalized. They have been spot on (yes that is a sad lighting reference) with answering my calls and responding to my text messages with minutes; that is great service!!!!!

For what is worth, I was told to use spot lights for on-road use, so I went with the following configuration listing the lights from outside in: Amber Spot, White Flood, White Spot, White Euro, Amber Spot. I plan on hooking the three spot lights on each side up to a single switch, if that is possible, and using them periodically for on-road use. I am going to hook the flood lights up to a second switch and the euro lights to a third switch.

It might still be too much for daily use so you can even reduce it even further with more switches to make it less blinding for upcoming traffic.

Jeff or MandR,

Can you tell me the difference between the flood, Euro and spot lights?

Jeff, why the amber on the inside and outside? Why not put them right next to each other on the inside OR the outside?

Thanks!

Placement is pure esthetics since they are all so close together. But typically you want floods on the outside to have greater coverage. But it's all irrelevant since it's only a 2" light

Here is my understanding of the beam patterns. Flood produces a very broad and short dispersion of light. Spot produces a much narrower beam that projects a fairly long distance. Euro produces a beam of light somewhere between flood and spot (much broader than a spot beam and projects much further than flood, but probably not as far as spot). For on-road use they recommended using spots and pointing them downward to minimize oncoming driver glare.

As for why I am separating the amber lights, I was thinking the separation would create in interesting visual look instead of placing them side by side. I would love to hear what others are planning on doing.
