Again, That was only using the MSRP. This calculation does not take into effect any dealer incentives, invoice pricing, retail pricing, discounts (Military, holiday, year end), Ford rebates or any of the alphabet plans.

So, it IS feasible to see the new Raptor touching $70K. Will it? Maybe, maybe not.
I'm just a guy with a calculator and the internet.

No those calcs are using MSRP plus your state tax. Every state is different, and most people don't include the state tax when talking about vehicle prices. Yeah you have to pay it, but you also have to pay for tags, registration, insurance, where do you draw the line? The tax by state varies way too much, plus other stupid things like NJ has a luxury tax for vehicles over a certain price and under a certain MPG. Those are all fixed % off what the vehicle costs, so don't add some of those ownership costs into vehicle cost. Keep it apples to apples, MSRP to MSRP, not MSRP + your specific state's tax, as this thread is just what will pricing be for the gen 2...pricing of the truck, not pricing of the truck + tax + title + reg + fees lol. Of course then it can reach $70k once you add ownership costs, but the vehicle itself is still $60k.

So the gen 1 rap was pretty close in price to the KR, and now a fully loaded KR is just under $62k? Then I'd expect a fully loaded Rap to cost somewhere around there in that $60-65k range at MSRP.

What folks have to pay in state tax, lux tax, tags, title, registration, etc. is all separate costs.

That's fine. Remove any tax from the equation. A new fully loaded KR is $61,706. So yes, just under $62K. But in years past, the Raptor was about $1,200 more above the MSRP of the same years KR model. Putting it closer to $63,000. That's if Ford DOESNT want to mark anything up (which they will). So now it's reaching closer to $65K after a mark up. And this is before any tax.

But why would you get all puffy in your last post just to agree with me in the end? I estimated you'd walk off the lot at $63-65K. And you said $60-65K. Basically the same. Tax included or excluded. It's a mute point in your argument and I just included it with mine, since I live in CA. It's a geographical variation. But that's fine. If you'd like to consider your estimation more correct than mine, more power to you.

I think a fully loaded scab will go for the same price that a loaded 2014 screw went for new and the screw's will be 62-65. If they ever make an SE raptor expect that one to be 65-68. Was at my local ford dealership not too long and saw some lariats going for 55..... I know damn well the raptor will be breaking 60k easy

f150, king ranch, Raptor, lariat, and so on... nothing special anymore other than the name Raptor is still fairly new. Your paying for options nothing more.

I hope your right about the 65k. Anything over that just seems like too much for a really cool pickup.

Our tax for new vehicles is only 2%

Wasn't disagreeing or saying my answer was more accurate. Pointing out it fell right around your estimates too when tax wasn't considered.

My bet would be the 2017's MSRP under $50K, and by mid year, there will be $10K discounts.
