Nobody's opinion really matters on the Internet at the end of the day, including mine. But to be perfectly honest, It doesn't matter about Gen1 or Gen2 and if anything is better or worse to me. The Gen2 will come out and it will be compared just like any new model does. I have nothing against the Gen2 and welcome the upcoming changes. Am I worried because I am a Gen1 owner?, not all at. I plan on keeping it and really don't worry if it will lose resale value or not. Even if it does drop, it will be like any other truck I've owned except that I enjoyed and had more fun in this truck or any vehicle for that matter than I have ever owned.

Having a raptor has been a blessing and a curse for me. Financially I have never sunk so much money into something that I know I will get a terrible return but its a disease because for some reason it doesn't bother me as much as I think it should.

I am sure when the Gen2 arrives, the following years will merit changes just like any model. I'll wait to consider a Gen2 for two reasons and not because I think there is problems with first year models.

1. Financially I won't be considering it until 2018/2019
2. Look to see "improvements" in Gen2 in the following years, not necessarily "fixes" to any issues.
