The last thing I need at my age is to feel like I pissed myself! Lol

That was exactly how I fet the first time I used them:everything:

I was in this situation when I started shopping for mine in 2012. Is the $2000 nav package worth it? Luckily Ford made it easy for me in 2013 and made everything inclusive. It's worth it. Everything in it you can source independantly, but wil it be cheaper, better, warrantied?

Texas heat = reason for remote start and cooled seats
While I'm not impressed with the Sony's they can be swapped down the road. I don't have a lot of time to tinker at the moment, so I wanted the bells and whistles built in.
To many other hobbies/activities + kids = little garage time.

What's the big deal about push start? Had it in a vehicle and it doesn't make much of a difference to me.

The ability to leave the fob in my pocket, walk to the truck, grab the handle and have it automatically unlock that door, then hop in, put my foot on the brake, and then press the button is just something I'd like to have. Other vehicle's in the Ford lineup have this, but not the $55K flagship truck. Doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

Did you know that every Audi/VW (even the beetle) has this option but Audi's flag ship R8 does not? All it means is that R8 and Raptor is the last vehicle in the lineup to get an upgrade/redo.

The 2015 F-150 has this and if Ford decides on Raptor V2, it will have this option.

If all you want 801a is for the remote start and HID, I would agree get retrofits instead. As far as the factory remote start, it sucks. The distance is horrible, practically have to see it with a direct line of site and be close plus half the f'ing time it doesn't work, just flashes its lights at you. I upgraded mine to the Ford remote start that I can use on my phone and from anywhere since it uses cell tower signals to communicate. Works all the time, every time if in cell coverage. Cost $50 a year. You can do the same thing and more with a Viper system.

I have the 801a myself and like the other features plus wanted all the extras.

And that would **** me off even more if I had an R8.

Push button would be nice, but it gets tricky when you have to tune or need powerrun. brake on, brake off, push button, hold button...etc, etc,

I like the manual temp control knob on the 800. Always right there...
