2013 with 850 miles in the shop already!

Sorry for the off-topic post, but I went to the dealership today to pick up my brand new Raptor, and guess what? The damn thing wouldn't even crank. Turns out, the transmission wiring harness is FREAKING GONE! Now I have to wait 2-4 weeks for them to get this part from China so I can drive it off the lot. This totally blows!

The good news is they have one from a Focus that will work as a temp fix. Bad news, you only get every other gear, the HP drops by 80%, and you have to leave your **** in momma's purse.

Although glad to hear the dealership got your truck back to you ASAP...did they address the issue of the "bangs" encountered when you first discovered the problem? As others have stated...I would be more than a little concerned about some damage to the transmission which may raise it's ugly head later.... But....on the bright side....your driving your Raptor!

The issue that remains is what damage did the banging as described by the OP do to the life of the transmission. If it were mine I would be looking into that issue with vigor!! First step is to drop the pan and see what is there then flush the system at the VERY least..
