Yes, I agree 100%. I've noticed the truck drives completely different now since the harness has been changed. Different meaning way more fun to drive! Revs up nicely, goes around corners better. Since day 1 it always felt like I had it in
4wd. kind of sluggish around corners and always kind of grabbing.

I will present my case tomorrow to the service department and see what they say....I'll push hard to get the trans inspected and the fluids flushed.

Presently, I am having a ball with the truck! I love the fact that you can put the truck in "sport mode" and disable the traction control somewhat. There is snow on the ground here now which makes it that much more fun! I hated my Tundra for this! You go to get on it and the truck just bogs and goes nowhere...anyway getting off topic, but thanks for the feedback guys and I'll let you know what the the dealership says this week.

Jesus. I hope this doesn't happen to mine. I've been babying the shit out of my truck. I have notice one other weird thing though. When approaching a stop light, coming down from normal speeds, she downshifts nicely and everything, but just before I come to a complete stop, there's some sort of a kick that lunges me forward about a foot. Almost like as if someone lightly rear ended me or something. It's weird but I was hopping that this will eventually stop doing this. The trans is never is tow/haul and I'm not manually shifting it either. I'll check my truck for this harness issue tomorrow. I hope it's not serious.

This sounds like the joint in the driveshaft.......there has been a few f150s here with that problem

Well, following is the answer I received from the Service Manager...

"Morning Brian

Im glad to hear the truck is running properly, I can imagine how discouraged you may have felt having a problem so early into ownership. As far as dropping the pan and doing an inspection I don't really feel that's necessary or I would have had my tech do that. We can have a look at it at the 50k service as thats when a transmission service is due under the special operation maintenance schedule. As well not sure if you aware or not but the transmission caries a 5year or 100k warranty."

Not really what I wanted to hear, but honestly is what I really expected!!

I will be filing all the documentation on the situation, if something pops up in the future...Time to have fun!

You do what you want but the dealership just blew you off big time. Go and have it done and never step foot into that idiots shop again.. Make sure you KILL them in the correspondence you get from Ford asking you about your "experience" with your new truck. They live and die by that stuff---might respond to the email he sent and inform him that you will be documenting your dissatisfaction with his department and the dealership in the Ford Survey. Will guarantee that this will get a response...

I know you want to go have fun, who wouldn't, BUT THEY SHOULD HAVE AT LEAST CHANGED THE FLUID.
I agree with Boss, they blew you off.
