Hello, I'm new to this forum and to the raptor but I have a problem. My two day old raptor with only 300km on it needed flat decking to a dealer because the power steering pump seized up. I was in the mud but nothing any other truck I've owned hasn't been able to handle. Anyone else with similar issues?

There are some issues with the pump under heavy offroading on hot days.

Sounds like you got a defective pump. Have the dealer fix it and forget it. If your still worried, see the aftermarket power steering solutions from our supporting vendors. I have the one from RPG, Raptor Performance Group.

Oh, and welcome to the forum!

I just dropped mine off to ford yesterday for the same issue after a weekend in the sand dunes. My rep said they have made updates to the power steering system. Just take it to ford.

Wow, thanks for all the resposnes and input, glad to know I am not alone!

What does "Have the RPG PS reservoir ready to go in before TRR" mean?

I did get some good news. I get my truck back tomorrow :)

Now I just have to decide between the Whipple and Roush supercharger, any suggetsions? The Whipple produces and extra 40 bhp over the Roush model so on these numbers alone I think it is a no brainer.

Nope but if you click on the home button on the top left and then use the search function for supercharge there is more than enough to find what you need.
