2013 HID Headlights PnP? ...

I gotta admit, the look of the 2013 projectors is growing on me. Like any oem product Im sure it will look better with some mods. Maybe throw a led ring in there, clear lens upgrade and Im sure they will perform great for the majority of ppl. Lets be honest here, its a huge improvement from the halogens and a step in the right direction for Ford.

What remains to be seen is cost. Not just a earlier model conversion but what it will add to the sticker to have HID's. Didnt Randy say that they are only available with the 801A package ? Thats adding 3K plus to the bottom line, could even be more ?

I guess we will know for sure when they let us build a 13 Raptor on the website.

I think you hit the nail on the head.

It's just the guys who are spiteful that their 10,11,12 Raptors don't have them. They look better than years prior, if they look retarded what does that say about the "old" headlights ...

i think it is a step in the right direction and they do look better than the halogens. i think they have lots of potential in dawson's hands. BUT they will probably be redonkulusly priced.

I'm assuming the price of the assembly will be high but never know.....I was just opening some eyes here that's all. If your going to compete with ducatis bad ass retro's then you might want to figure : The cost of the head light assembly, plus the cost to open them up and mod the important parts like ducati. I think aesthetically, these '13 lights will be sick. Especially once Ducati gets a simple spray can on them and some angel eyes. Please don't get my explanation twisted. I'm in love with the capabilities and future of the '13 heads, tweaking figured in that's all.

I could have sworn I read somewhere that in order to get the Ford HIDS...
the customer has to also purchase the new NAV/Luxury package...
can anyone confirm...

I just tried calling Mike to check the availability and he wasnt at work this late, I'll try back tomorrow. I'm curious, I might order me a set being I need a spare for my retrofit instead of ordering another set of '12 year lights. Im Anxious to see what upgrades are beneficial and what not through Ducati. Being his hands might be tied up, perfect time for me to play with them after i complete my retro.

Ordering spare/replacement parts is a little different from ordering pre-built. They can't deny a part sale im sure. That's like saying if you break this, you have to buy it all!........wait, might make sense after all, lol
