2013 has reinforced frame?

I have an early build 2012. I used the first version of the SDHQ frame support kit and it fit with no problems. So the early 2012 might not have the thicker frame.

Yeah, I asked this question too earlier in the thread, so hopefully they will respond, though I guess I could just not be a lazy ass and call them. I guess that just kind of becomes the norm when you work for the government.

Just spoke to SDHQ, as they said before, the only problem is with the inside plug. So If your frame is the thicker version the inside plug will not seat properly. They said the problem will be obvious. So I guess my early 2012 has the original frame.

Nate, so far we have only found that the 2013's have the reinforcement. A few posts back someone said they found most '13 f150's with the reinforcement too but a couple without. The speculation being that the early f150 this year was ford using up the remaining non reinforced ones. Yours being a '12 would have been before this "evolution" if that's what we are calling it now hah.
