Another thought on the gas fill ups, use multiple credit cards. Most gas stations won't let you run them at the same time.

Also, let the cc company know your running north to south, and that you'll have international charges.

What are you doing to get through customs faster?

And BTW, if you go through NJ, it is illegal to pump your own gas.

As far as gas fill ups.. Trying to only have to fill up once during the run.. At least that is the plan...

Customs... Pfft... I as m sure there are ways around that (at least in a Raptor)

Well if your professional street racing plans don't work out, you could always start your own human trafficking business.

I'm thinking an ARE blacked out cap with a special access panel for the bed mounted gas tank might be the stealth way to go.

Here is the fuelsafe aux tank that we will be going with (THANK YOU SDHQ)... It is smaller than 110 gallon monster, but under 50 gallons less issues with border crossing or DOT.. Still almost doubles our effective driving range, and can be under bakflip (sdhqjason is verifying this)..

Okay FRF geniuses.. What would be the best way to hook this sucker up..
It will have electric pump and shut off valve, pump will be powered from upfitter switch.

Hook the aux tank pump output to stock tanks fill tube, or return.. And "t" the aux tank vent lines to the stock tank vent.. (calling wiz...)

Anyone have any ideas?

How I did these at Ford for fuel transfer is I added another port to the top of the sending unit so it can be shut off and not interfere with the system monitor. All calibration vehicles must have this system in the build... All the lines should be made with stainless steel also... except where you put the runner lines for the fuel... and we used hansen quick connect fittings.. This is a lot of work though... I cant see any reason the fill tube wont work you just need to make sure it can be shut off and sealed perfectly

This is kind of what I was planning... See if i am thinking correctly..

Fuel pump powered from upfitter switch.. This makes sure pump can not be left on over night or anything silly like that.

In line fuel rated electric shut off valve hooked to ignition circuit so it is only powered open when vehicle is on.

Or I thought maybe powering it off upfitter switch which then powers a separate switch to turn on pump. This way it is a two step process that should take care most issues...

As far as aux tank vent, will it need to be connected to stock tanks vent lines?
