so with check ins do you check in and take off or do you have to wait for instructions if the later is what then the speed part would be the last leg for the most part. I know you have to check in in time also. **** it I already typed it I'm hitting enter

This is a great way to go if you can! To shift gears from hardcore offroad TRR to the onroad BullRun Rally that fast would require a crazy amount of time and resources

Yes, it would! Some of the mods will be done before TRR and using that as a shake down run.

On another note Andy Duncan emailed me and asked me the specs of the truck.
Total length, height, width and ground clearance? I can understand the reason for some of them (height and width) but why length and ground clearance? Those two have me stumped...

The way it works is 8am in Montreal, we line up and handed our next destination (usually lunch and event). Bust our asses to arrive at that destination first, eat lunch and do the event.. Line back up in order we arrived or event finishing place. We receive another card with next destination and head off to that location (over night hotel, dinner and party). And this continues for seven days when we finally arrive in New Orleans.

Where's it end though Greg if you go with lower profile street tires, rear swaybar, etc. ?
If you're doing the speed thing with the custom driveshaft, you might as well lower it too and go all the way with the suspension.
But in the end, it's all been done before. And probably been done better.
You'd just be doing a mildly built up f150 pavement pounder.
Which is unlikely to traverse that oval any quicker than a stock mustang...

Perhaps he's just accumulating all available engineering data points to estimate baseline performance. Identify strengths and weaknesses, ensuring that nothing gets overlooked - maximizing the biggest bang for your buck to realistically convert this offroad beast into full blown road warrior

Sorry, Andy Duncan is the Bullrun Rally founder/organizer.. Not Andy Perry from Roush or FRF..

Well, i have decided to put the front swaybar back on, and rear swaybar will be here Friday. I am going to try it out and see what I think, and try it out at TRR.. Then decide if they are staying on for the bullrun..
