I have a 2013 Raptor 6.2. Runs were performed Dynojet 248x chassis dyno. I did log air/fuel on all pulls with afm1000 Wideband.

Dynoed with the truck at operating temp stock on 93 octane ( perks of owning your own dyno ) 3rd gear pulls. Air/fuel was 11.40 at peak power.

328 RWHP
355 RWTQ

I then installed the 5 star SCT tuner and loaded the 93 octane performance tune. ( took about 10 mins) then re dynoed. Air fuel was 12.0 at peak power.

345 RWHP
376 RWTQ

The truck shifts much better and feels a hell of a lot more responsive. Intake and kooks headers on the way next. There's not much good dyno info on each individual mods for these trucks and I plan on dynoing after each item.

Ask any questions you want.

Hey mike did the tune get rid of the lag that these trucks get when you shift from park to drive or reverse. There is a solid two second lag from when you shift the truck until the truck responds to your foot on the peddle then it jolts foward. Hoping it takes care of this because 3 point turns at the moment are a hassle

I'd like you to try a diablo but I know it's not feasible. if you have the cash it would be cool to see what one you like better.

Ask if he would do this for you and what the cost would be...Return yours to stock send it to him and have him run it to compare...

In Texas, as long as you don't have a CEL, you should pass emissions. They don't really do visual checks here. There are ways to set the tune up with LTs and cats that will pass. The only thing that gives a clue something is up is that one of the readiness checks will come back as "not ready", but on OBD II vehicles, that is allowed here and will pass.

My G8 has been on that very dyno, twice.

I just leave a $100 bill on the dash and my old ford ranger (that never passes) magically gets a sticker... I love good ol boys!:banana-mario:

I don't want to know that bad. but like the shock comparison would be cool to see the results if the tune places would like to supply test tunes. basically I know they are the same. it's a box tune I've had mine tweaked to use e-30 for the best mpg. that two would be cool to see a dyno of regular gas, 91 octane, e-30, e-50 but it could be done on any cheep car. If I owned a dyno I'd do it. I'll send a $100 if it would help to buy some e-30. I might just try to line this up closer to home if it don't go hear.

Correct 3rd gear tops out around 95 mph. Now it will pull to 130mph. But I'm not driving that fast.

And as far as headers voiding warranty. You don't lose the entire warranty. If your radio stops working they will fix it ect.. Now if the trans goes out then they have to prove the headers ruined the trans.

But I'm in the business where we add 100s of hp to a brand new vehicle and yes the warranty is toast. But most guys who want power are willing to risk it. And if it breaks im not going back with a stock part!
Gotta pay to play!

Mike,

Can you explain the spike in the HP/TQ power band?

your gonna need aftermarket cams to hit your 400rwhp number...but good luck..it will be interesting to see how close you get..im guessing around 380..but that's just my opinion.
