Thanks all, good to know. I'm going to pull the trigger on separates from carparts or eBay. Unless anyone had luck with that AliExpress deal? Wouldnt hate getting it from one place and ordering that 15+ GPS antenna boostinchick found

Ended up pulling the trigger on a complete kit from Carlos Torres on the Facebook FRF page and couldn’t be happier. And with the latest sync 3 version and everything seems to be working properly. Definitely a huge upgrade from the sync 2 setup. Seat cooler/heater work without issue as does the gps. I was not able to get the front camera working but with the added speed and functionality I’ll take it.

You have to enable “reverse camera delay” in the head unit options. Should work once you put in reverse then drive.

I got it from eBay. Look for “simplymichigan”. They send a new screen and test and program it.

Just bought a 2014 and pretty sure it has Sync 2 in it (pic below). Waiting on delivery but if you guys can confirm that is sync 2 I am going to do the upgrade.

Thank you. I figured after looking at a few videos you guys had posted. Ok well then time to source some parts! I see the latest is the stuff on Ebay from seller SimplyMichigan. Is that the best resource at this point without spending 1400-2000?

I bought all mine separately, but I just look at his eBay store, he seems legit. Everyone else seems to recommend him too. Def a worthwhile upgrade. Also look into a cplay2air for wireless CarPlay if you have an iPhone.
