2012 to 13+ dash swap?

Has anyone done this? I'm currently interested in a 2012 Raptor but like the 13,14 dash. Does anyone have any feedback on the process or a thread I can read? I've tried searching and couldn't come up with any information.

i dont think there is going to be an easy way. the 13-14 have a different harness for the radio and screen. sync and mft, although almost the same, have some differences that will be very difficult to swap over

That's what I was thinking also. Found a great 12' model I really like. Hate to pass it up just because of the dash. I'm sure I'd get used to it but I like to stay as current as possible.

Not worth the trouble as a 2013 has some additions like HIDs and a thicker rear frame (in the bump stop area). Just buy a 2013-2014 as a conversion is just too much trouble and will cost you time & $$.

I didn't know anything about a thicker rear frame. Thanks for the advice.
