Hey y'all,
I have a 2012 Gen1 with chrome exterior door handle pulls. I'd like to replace these pull handles with black ones. I have black ones sitting here I just can't figure out how to get these apart without breaking them. I know there's a few people on here that have taken them apart for painting so I thought someone could help me out.
I can get the pin out on the spring mechanism (latch side) but I cannot get the pin out of the pivot side (see pic). I hammered on it and it didn't move. Is there something holding it in that I'm not aware of? Anyone know how to get that pin out?
