Isn't black a dirt color? I would love a sterling gray one. It would go with my current fleet lineup of vapor silver, tungsten gray and mineral gray cars.

Well black is a dirt color in that it SHOWS every last little spec of DIRT! lol Sterling gray, or one of those variations of a brownish hue gray is what I consider a dirt color paint, as it hides almost all the dirt since it is dirt colored to begin with, and looks clean even when dirty....whereas black almost looks dirty even when its clean, since it's only clean for about 15 minutes LoL!

You can choose options, just need min of 5 for special paint

Randy, I definitely think you'd be able to sell 5 Raptors in Sterling Gray, especially if we wouldn't all have to agree upon the exact same options. Not only for the fact of being a color the Raptor should have come in, DIRT!, but some guys would also want to nab it up for the special factor of a unique color not mass produced.

I'm definitely down for a 2012 Raptor Supercrew through you, Blue Flame was my choice out of available colors, but I'd LOVE a Sterling Gray!!!! I'd be as flexible on ordering as you'd need for that one, wouldn't care if I'd have to wait a little longer after the banks open up to get it through, or if it'd be a little bit longer for production. I plan on keeping it for at least 5-10 years, so whats a couple extra months in the grand scheme of things for a color I'd love to get!

Keep me posted on this possibility! And give me a heads up if we can do this, when you'd think you'd order (as soon as the banks open late summer, or later in the fall), so I can plan on when to de-mod and post my street truck up for sale.....unless you want me to just do a trade in with ya, I can drive out to drop it off, and pick up my Raptor lol. Road Trip! :peace:

Well I have a black SS and work my ass of to keep that thing shining. So red oxidizes? Im not sure about the blue and def. not white or silver. I probably will do black again lol, it just looks so sweet when its clean. If they had gunmetal i would choose that!

Wow look what I started, Im glad some of you like the Sterling Grey idea. It would be pretty cool to own a rare factory painted Raptor. I need to go take a closer look at the Sterling Grey but im pretty sure I will be down.
As far as a dirt color Ford has the Golden Bronze color that is the closest color to it.

Oh and what do you guys think of the Dark Blue Pearl? Would anyone be interested in that color?

I'd LOVE a Sonic Blue Raptor! DBP is a nice color as well, but it's not really a Raptor color in my eyes. I think the BEST color for a Raptor is "Boxwood Green" from back in the late 60's.

Call me crazy, but a Raptor in that color would be DOPE! (Or Sonic Blue!)
