2011 Raptor - How Will It Differ?

Based on Team Ford's remarks I think it will have the Ford My Touch system with the two integrated 4" displays flanking either side of the speedo and an 8" display in the center console. This will include the HD radio mentioned above, two USB ports, SD slot, and AV in/out (don't remember if it's in or out and don't feel like thinking about it). It may include the functions Dan listed above to include SYNC. The controls would actually be two five-way buttons on each side of the steering wheel. The way Dan listed it above makes it seem like Ford is only installing half of the My Touch package.

I think it will offer the smart key keyless entry with push button start.

If the 2011 does have some form of "modified manual" mode then that might be a very useful feature.
(That is what I tell myself to help alleviate the pain of waiting.)
It would be very useful off-road and may help erase most of the transmission gremlins people have complained about in the past when driving in civilization.

The electronic screens sound very neat, but I think I remember someone on another thread questioning their usefulness when you are driving 60+ mph and you are not on pavement.

Welcome to the forum, Tumbler - glad to have you here.

The electronic display screens are significant in that they should display the current state of the various off road modes: Off Road mode on/off, AdvanceTrac off some/off all, rear locker on/off and the various combinations thereof.

The current display leaves a lot to be desired and it would be very helpful to know, at a glance, exactly what is and/or isn't engaged.

Yea it is going on 2011 so how about Homelink and TPMS for the spare ? My co-workers basic RAV4 has these and it only cost $21,000 new .
