2011 6.2 gear position on dash, it’s missing

Hey all, not sure where this belongs. I used to have the gear position (1-6) showing on my dash display when I was using the trailer. it was vertical and showed gear position of the trans.

a week ago I had to get a new battery and now I can’t get the gear position to show up again on the dash,

Myra I searched but this sites search engine is terrible

Have you tried pushing the plus symbol on the shifter where you would upshift if you were in manual mode? On mine the gears will disappear from time to time and this always brings them back.

Plus the + button in the shifter, it’ll reappear on the dash.

And if you go into dash setting and click memory, the gears will light up every time you put the shifter in Drive.

FYI: Gen 1 Pressing the + on the shifter will activate the gears showing but when the key cycles you must press the + again to see the gears, however pressing the - side of same button will also activate the gears showing but when the key cycles the gears reappear.
