Are we able to order these with tips welded on from the manufacturer?

Yes, you are able to select an exhaust tip and provide it to Dirty Deeds to be welded on. However, we encourage you to have it done after installation as you are able to select how far inwards or outwards you'd like the exhaust tip to be located. After install also ensures any potential clearance issues between the exit pipe and the side steps for your chosen exhaust tip.

I choose to buy a bolt on tip, it just made more sense in terms of being able to adjust it, so it looked just right. Also, it could be removed to be re-painted.

Do you get the dark smoke exhaust burn on the side how far out and down do I have to go to avoid that?

Well only been one day so far. But based on how my install went it sits inside the body line and the way it's angled I don't think it will be an issue. Anyone else that has had it longer could chime in and see if it is happening. Sorry couldn't be of more help.

I know we sell these things, so someone else needs to chime in, but I had the exhaust without a tip for quit a while and never had any residue from it on my truck. Anywhere.

Like I said, others need to back this up.....
