16" Dirty Deeds installed today

I'm headed back to Keith's shop Friday to either modify my 16" or install a 20". The sound is amazing and I don't think it is too loud around town. The reason I'm not 100% satisfied with mine is because it isn't as quiet as I would like @ highway speed on long road trips. I just drove 7 hrs up and back from the ROC Lost Coast excursion and the tone was a little too much on long road trips for my liking. I'm guessing the exit point may play into the tone in the cab as well. I'd be curious to hear the sound dumped before the axle, although I do love the look of the lightning style exit.
I must say though, Keith will work with you until you are 100% satisfied.

OK, I'm in for the 16". I got your message and I'm looking forward to installing this thing.

I also looked at Chris's pm to me "The 16" system has plenty of bark when you mash the gas pedal, but really quiets down when you're cruising the highway. And the resonator removes all the drone. No issues about talking with your passengers in the cab or having conversations via bluetooth with this system. ". I trust Chris's judgement.

No drone, you can talk with no problem, talk on the Bluetooth. Like the other member said, just a little too much on a long ride for me.

Got the shipping label and all packaged up. I should get it out tonight!

I just ordered a 16" SS, Keith should have just had you ship that one to me. I'm a lot closer to you than CA. we all could have saved money on shipping. Getting excited!!!

I just did some more Real Time audio analysis on a 16", the sound isn't drone....phew!! Because that's what I was worried about. It is just exhaust sound.

We then installed a 20" and the exhaust definitely becomes quieter at part throttle cruise. There is still some sound, but it's also definitely quieter

All that said, 16" isn't so annoying that you just wanna rip it off, it just has a 'little' sound on the highway

Anyone looking to trade a 16 for a 20 (or bigger) just give me a call and I'll get the swap arranged.

Or if you have Stainless Works long tube headers and want a custom X pipe and duals all the way back, Keith is your man. My exhaust is now dual all the way back and tucked completely above the frame rail, next to impossible to bang on shit. I'm going to try my best, but I don't think it is going to happen.

Keith, it sounds perfect!!! I had a headache when I got home with just the straight headers (no mufflers). Now I just have a grin every time I get out of the truck.
