One popped up local to me. I have called and am scheduled to see it Tuesday. They want 50k. It seems reasonable but wanting to get your opinions on things I can use to try to get a fair deal out of this one. Exciting times!

A Ruby Red Limited Ed should be pretty well loaded. Plus, this is a 5 yr old vehicle w/13K miles. You may be able to talk it down a few K. Finding another with comparable milage would be tough. About the only thing you have in your favor, is that its now not the latest generation.

Any cosmetic issues are a obvious place to start. Make sure the sunroof and rear window functions, same with the front and rear cameras. Anything inoperable would be a deduction. 1st gen's had a recall for a transmission software update and were known to sometimes melt the # 27 fuel pump fuse, which there was a up grade kit that relocated it to the #70 slot and increased the AMP size of the fuse.

Consider that you should replace the tires because of their age, >1K
Needs complete detailed history, especially of anything that has been replaced.

Around here the Gen 1 has held its value.
With 13k it will bring a premium, but really the supply/demand in your area will determine what it will bring.
I would think that $46 on the low, to $48-49 would be All Shes got.

I would go kick the tires, get a full Ford Scan and Car Fax and talk the dealer. How long has it been on the lot, what does he have in it etc..
